| Vertical structure of a stand. The NFI differentiates between single-layered, multi-layered, stratified and clustered structures. [D] Bestandesstruktur (Struktur) Vertikaler Aufbau eines Bestandes. Im LFI werden einschichtige, mehrschichtige, stufige und rottenförmige Strukturen unterschieden. [F] structure (du peuplement) Stratification verticale d'un peuplement. L'IFN distingue les structures à une ou plusieurs strates, étagée et par collectifs. [I] struttura (del popolamento) Struttura verticale di un popolamento. Nell'IFN si distinguono strutture monoplane, pluriplane, stratificate ed a collettivi. |

- The English plant names were taken form the internet (swiss web flora, PLANTS Database and Dictionary of Common Names). The notations and abbreviations were taken from IPNI - The international Plant Names Index.
