structural diversity of the forest edge
Key measure to characterize the vertical and horizontal composition of the forest edge, deduced from the attributes: structure, course and density of the forest edge and the width of the shelterbelt, shrub belt and the herbaceous fringe).

[D] Strukturvielfalt des Waldrandes
Kenngrosse zur Charakterisierung des vertikalen und horizontalen Aufbaus des Waldrandes, abgeleitet aus den Merkmalen Aufbau, Verlauf und Dichte des Waldrandes und je der Breite von Waldmantel, Strauchgurtel und Krautsaum.

[F] Diversité structurelle de la lisière
Grandeur servant à caractériser la structure verticale et horizontale de la lisière , elle est dérivée des critères suivants : structure, tracé et densité de la lisière et largeur du manteau forestier, du cordon de buissons et de l'ourlet herbeux.

[I] diversità strutturale del margine del bosco
Grandezza per la caratterizzazione della struttura verticale ed orizzontale del margine del bosco, ottenuta a partire dai parametri costituzione, andamento e densità del margine del bosco e le larghezze rispettive del mantello boschivo, della fascia arbustiva e del orlo delle erbe.

  • The German, French and Italien plant names were taken mainly from the book Die häufigsten Waldbäume der Schweiz or from the Flora Helvetica
  • The English plant names were taken form the internet (swiss web flora, PLANTS Database and Dictionary of Common Names by plantpress.com). The notations and abbreviations were taken from IPNI - The international Plant Names Index.
