Abstract

The Swiss National Forest Inventory conducts a new inventory (NFI2, 1993-1995) ten years after the first inventory. The attributes of the survey on the sample plots and the inquiry at the forest service are described and defined in this field manual. This manual serves as the basis for the field surveys from 1993 to 1995 and describes the methods of the inventory.
