German-French-Italian-English dictionary of plant names and technical terms used in the NFI. Definitions are given for the terms highlighted in yellow.
(timber) stock / standing volume
Standing volume in an area. Used in the NFI for the volume of stemwood including dead and fallen trees.- [de] Holzvorrat (Vorrat)
Schaftholzvolumen in Rinde der lebenden Bäume und Sträucher (stehende und liegende) mit erkennbarer Gehölzart ab 12 cm BHD. - [fr] volume (de bois)
Volume de bois sur pied d'une surface donnée (matériel sur pied). Dans l'IFN, volume du bois de tige, y compris les arbres secs ou à terre. - [it] provvigione (legnosa)
Volume legnoso in piedi totale presente su di una superficie. Nell'IFN si considera il volume del legno del fusto, incluso quello degli alberi morti, in piedi e a terra.

- The English plant names were taken form the internet (swiss web flora, PLANTS Database and Dictionary of Common Names by plantpress.com). The notations and abbreviations were taken from IPNI - The international Plant Names Index.
