Includes all silvicultural measures aimed at a particular production goal from starting a stand to initiating regeneration (intermediate treatment). Used in the NFI for a silvicultural treatment in a young forest (young forest treatment).

[D] Pflege
Alle waldbaulichen Massnahmen zwischen Bestandesbegrundung und Einleitung der Verjungung zur Erreichung des Produktionszieles (Bestandespflege). Im LFI waldbaulicher Eingriff im Jungwald (Jungwaldpflege).

[F] soins
Toutes les mesures sylvicoles depuis la création du peuplement jusqu'au début de la régénération en vue d'atteindre les objectifs de production (entretien du peuplement). Dans l'IFN, les soins constituent l'intervention sylvicole dans la jeune forêt (soins culturaux).

[I] cura (colturale)
Tutti i provvedimenti selvicolturali tra la costituzione del popolamento e l'avviamento della rinnovazione volti al conseguimento degli obiettivi produttivi (cura del popolamento). Nell'IFN si intendono gli interventi selvicolturali nel bosco giovane (cura del bosco giovane).
