German-French-Italian-English dictionary of plant names and technical terms used in the NFI. Definitions are given for the terms highlighted in yellow.
site class
Measure of the productivity of a stand on the basis of stand age and stand height according to a specific yield table. In the Swiss yield tables the site class corresponds to the top height of a tree species at the age of 50 (according to SAFE).- [de] Bonität
Mass für die nach einer bestimmten Ertragstafel aufgrund von Bestandesalter und Bestandeshöhe sich ergebende Leistung eines Bestandes. In den schweizerischen Ertragstafeln entspricht die Bonität der Oberhöhe einer Baumart im Alter 50 (nach SAFE). - [fr] indice de fertilité
Mesure de la production d'un peuplement, établi dans des tables de production à l'aide de l'âge du peuplement et de sa hauteur. Dans les tables de production suisses, cet indice correspond à la hauteur dominante d'une essence à 50 ans. (selon CAFS). - [it] feracità
Misura della produzione di un popolamento, riportata in una determinata tavola alsometrica e calcolata in base all'età del popolamento e all'altezza raggiunta. Nelle tavole alsometriche svizzere la feracità corrisponde all'altezza dominante di una specie arborea all'età di 50 anni (da SAFE).

- The English plant names were taken form the internet (swiss web flora, PLANTS Database and Dictionary of Common Names by plantpress.com). The notations and abbreviations were taken from IPNI - The international Plant Names Index.
