ecotone value of the forest edge
Key measure to assess the forest edge as a habitat for animals and plants ecologically according to the criteria 'diversity of ligneous species' and 'structural diversity'. Synthesis of several indicators or groups of indicators related to the forest edge.

Ökologische Masszahl zur Beurteilung des Waldrandes als Lebensraum für Tiere und Pflanzen anhand der Kriterien Gehölzartenvielfalt und Strukturvielfalt. Synthese mehrerer ökologischer Indikatoren oder Indikatorengruppen zum Waldrand.

[F] valeur d'écotone de lisière
Grandeur écologique pour évaluer la lisière en tant qu'habitat pour la faune et la flore à l'aide de critères comme la diversité des espèces ligneuses et la diversité structurelle. Synthèse de plusiers indicateurs écologiques et groupes d'indicateurs relatifs à la lisière.

Parametro di valutazione ecologica del margine del bosco quale ambiente vitale per animali e vegetali, basato sui criteri della molteplicità specifica e della diversità strutturale. Sintesi di più indicatori ecologici o gruppi di indicatori riferiti al margine boschivo.

  • The German, French and Italien plant names were taken mainly from the book Die häufigsten Waldbäume der Schweiz or from the Flora Helvetica
  • The English plant names were taken form the internet (swiss web flora, PLANTS Database and Dictionary of Common Names by plantpress.com). The notations and abbreviations were taken from IPNI - The international Plant Names Index.
