| Tree that is part of a sample plot of an inventory. In the NFI it refers to a tree on a sample plot whose diameter is greater or equal to the required minimal tree width. [D] Probebaum Baum, der Bestandteil der Stichprobe einer Inventur ist. Im LFI Baum auf einer Probefläche des Landesforstinventars, dessen Durchmesser grösser oder gleich der Kluppierungsschwelle ist. [F] arbre échantillon Arbre faisant partie de l'échantillon inventorié. Dans l'IFN, arbre situé sur une placette d'échantillonnage ayant atteint ou dépassé le seuil d'inventaire. [I] albero campione Albero posto all'interno di un'area di saggio di un inventario, nell'IFN, ogni albero all'interno di un'area di saggio dell'Inventario Forestale Nazionale, il cui diametro è uguale o superiore alla soglia di cavallettamento. |

- The English plant names were taken form the internet (swiss web flora, PLANTS Database and Dictionary of Common Names). The notations and abbreviations were taken from IPNI - The international Plant Names Index.
