coppice with standards
Forest form with elements of both the coppice and the high forest. It consists of a lower layer grown from coppice and an upper layer grown from standards, and sometimes from sprouted coppice.
Mittelwald
Waldform mit Elementen des Niederwaldes und des Hochwaldes, bestehend aus einer Unterschicht aus Stockausschlägen und einer Oberschicht aus Kernwüchsen, z.T. auch aus in die Oberschicht durchgewachsenen Stockausschlägen.
taillis-sous-futaie
Forme de forêt présentant des éléments du taillis et de la futaie, composée d’une strate inférieure (sous-étage) de rejets de souche et d’une strate supérieure de francs-pieds et en partie de rejets de souche réservés.
ceduo composto
Forma di governo con elementi del ceduo e della fustaia, costituito da uno strato inferiore di polloni e da uno strato superiore di piedi franchi e, in parte, anche da polloni invecchiati.
