German-French-Italian-English dictionary of plant names and technical terms used in the NFI. Definitions are given for the terms highlighted in yellow.
standard error
Standard deviation of statistical measures (e.g. mean). The approximation of the standard error is generally calculated using the variance of the observations.- [de] Standardfehler
Standardabweichung von statistischen Masszahlen (z. B. Mittelwert). Die Schätzung des Standardfehlers erfolgt im allgemeinen mit Hilfe der Varianz der Beobachtungswerte. - [fr] erreur standard
C'est l'écart-type de grandeurs statistiques (p. ex. la moyenne). L'estimation de l'erreur standard se fait en général à l'aide de la variance des valeurs observées. - [it] errore standard
Deviazione standard di una misura statistica (es. valore medio). La stima dell'errore standard si ottiene in generale con l'aiuto della varianza dei valori osservati.

- The English plant names were taken form the internet (swiss web flora, PLANTS Database and Dictionary of Common Names by plantpress.com). The notations and abbreviations were taken from IPNI - The international Plant Names Index.
