strato intermedio
Strato del popolamento, nell'IFN insieme degli alberi e degli arbusti A della lista delle specie legnose (tipiche specie degli arbusteti come il pino mugo o l'ontano verde), le cui chiome formano uno strato ben distinto sia verso l'alto che verso il basso, situato tra un terzo e due terzi dell'altezza dominante, e con un grado di copertura di almeno il 20%.
Mittelschicht
Bestandesschicht, im LFI Gesamtheit der Bäume und der Sträucher A der Gehölzartenliste (typische Gebüschwaldarten wie Legföhre oder Alpenerle), die in einer Höhe von ein bis zwei Drittel der Oberhöhe eine gegen unten und oben klar abgrenzbare Kronenschicht mit einem Deckungsgrad von mindestens 20 % bilden.
strate intermédiaire
Strate du peuplement, dans l’IFN, ensemble des arbres et du groupe A des arbustes selon la liste des espèces ligneuses du manuel d’instruction IFN (espèces typiques de la forêt buissonnante comme le pin couché ou l’aulne vert), dont les houppiers forment une strate bien distincte, entre un et deux tiers de la hauteur dominante, avec un degré de recouvrement d’au moins 20%.
middle layer
Stand layer. In NFI, all the trees and the shrubs A (typical shrub forest species such as dwarf mountain-pine or green alder) in the woody species list that, at a height of one to two thirds of the height of the top layer, form a crown layer that is clearly delimitable from below and above with a degree of cover of at least 20 %.
